What are recommendations?

Shopr's recommendations make it easy to share, discover and organize your online shopping experience. You can send recommendations to your followers, just a few friends, or contribute to a shared list. Your friends and followers will be notified via Shopr that you found something they will like. Each recommendation you make will be added to your followers' feeds so they can keep up to date with you.

You can set each recommendation to be publicly available or privately available. You can include a message along with the item. Public recommendations will be displayed for anyone to see in the public feed or in searches. Private recommendations will only be shared with the people you select and they will not be included in search results.

To add a recommendation, you must add the shopr.com bookmarklet to your browser by following these browser specific instructions.

What are lists?

Lists are groupings of products that can be shared with friends, family, the general public, or kept private just for you. You can easily add or remove your friends or followers so you can collaborate on the same list. Share your thoughts by commenting on your friends' recommendations and vote for your favorites.

Following is a great way to keep up with someone’s styles, interests, or good advice. Your recommendation activity stream displays the recommendations of the people you are following.

To ask a question, you can click on the question link on the homepage, click on the Ask A Question link from the Q&A tab, or go directly to http://www.shopr.com/ask/.
