I'm ready to buy a hard drive on which I plan to host multiple virtual machines -- probably not all running at once, but I might need that eventually.

What's better -- in terms of rpm, external vs. internal, SATA vs. whatever else is out there now? What other factors do I need to consid...

It seems like the only hardwired Dvorak keyboards are in some kind of funky "ergonomic" layout.

I'd prefer hardwired because I don't like dealing with Microsoft's Language Bar. Settings are inconsistent among applications.

I'm looking for a 2-channel controller for a 1U server with 2x SATA HDDs. The drives will be two Western Digital 74GB 8MB 10K RPM Raptor SATA drives. The setup is 64bit compatible.
